Content policy
This is a directory of licensed therapeutic massage. These rules come from Hawaiʻi law and apply to every listing, every photo, and every open time posted.
Therapeutic massage only
No escort, dating, or companion services, and no links to them. Listings that suggest anything else are removed. (HRS §452-23)
Photos show hands, wrists, and forearms only
People in massage photos may only appear as hands, wrists, and forearms. Photos of your room, table, oils, and scenery are fine. (HRS §452-23)
No descriptions of how anyone looks
Listings describe the service, never the therapist’s appearance or physical qualities. (HRS §452-23)
A license number on every listing
Each listing shows a current Hawaiʻi massage license number. We check it against the state’s public license search and keep a record. (HRS §452-23)
Outcall needs its own license
A service that travels to hotels, condos, or homes needs an out-call massage service license with a designated principal therapist. Mobile listings show that number too. (HAR §16-84-6, §16-84-15)
Only techniques you are trained in
A style badge, such as lomilomi or prenatal, appears only when the therapist is trained in it. We may ask for proof. (HAR §16-84-43)
A signed lister statement
Every lister confirms the license is current for the services shown, that every applicable license number is included, and that they understand the penalties for advertising without a valid license. (HRS §452-23)
How we check
We look up every license number in the Hawaiʻi DCCA public license search before a listing goes live, and keep a dated record of that check. We recheck before licenses renew.
Removal
We remove listings that break these rules. Hawaiʻi law protects a publisher that refuses an ad that does not comply (HRS §452-23(d)). See something wrong? Report a listing.

Open question for review. HRS §452-23 limits massage ad wording to terms like “therapeutic massage” and “massage therapy.” How strictly that applies to style names like “lomilomi” or “deep tissue” is a question for a lawyer before launch. This page is not legal advice.
